The AMPER trade fair has been developing for 30 years. The beginnings of the trade fair in 1993 are connected with the Prague Palace of Culture and subsequently with the fair grounds in Strahov, where AMPER was held from 1996 to 1999. With the increasing number of exhibitors and increasing demands for the quality of fair services, the AMPER trade fair moved to the Prague-Holešovice Exhibition Center (2000) and then to PVA Letňany Prague (2001-2010).
Since 2011, AMPER has been held at the Exhibition Center in Brno. By combining an important fairground and the largest electrotechnical fair in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the trade fair acquired a prestigious international dimension.
