CONTROL UNIT OF REMOTE-CONTROLLED SECTION SWITCH RJDOU

16. 03. 2017 | The control unit in modular design is designed to control the drive of remote-controlled section switches. Due to the high configurability this unit can be seen as a universal control unit similar to industrial programmable logic controllers.

The control unit has a modular and DIN rail design, it was designed to control the drive of remote-controlled section switches equipped with a 24 VDC motor. Due to the high configurability of the final design, this unit can be seen as a universal control unit similar to industrial programmable logic controllers.

            The RJDOU unit provides up to 12 inputs with a voltage resistance of up to 120 V. These inputs are configurable as digital or analog. In addition, it has 5 universal potential-free relay contacts configurable as NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) and one changeover contact.

            The control unit is able to communicate via a galvanically isolated RS-485 interface with the MODBUS protocol. To maintain internal time, the control unit is equipped with a battery-backed RTC circuit. Upon customer request, the unit can be fitted with an internal flash memory with a capacity of 4 MB.

            To increase user comfort, the control unit is equipped with a total of 7 LEDs on the front panel.
